In Summer
Cortina d'Ampezzo is the ideal resort for guests seeking wellness and vitality, and it offers the extra value of a rich nature enjoying a pleasant climate. The most popular tour destinations are the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites, covering an area of 275,000 acres, the  Averau, Nuvolau, Lagazuoi and 5 Torri areas, Cristallo and Tofane with their famous equipped mountain routes, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the Misurina lake, the Pianozes, d'Aial and Ghedina ponds. Bicycle lovers can ride through the entire Cadore area on the route that once was the Dolomites train track route, or else detour to Dobbiaco and eventually ride on the San Candido- Lienz route.

We are set in the famous Dolomiti Superski district, just a few kilometers from the renowned “Sella Ronda route”,  which has as many as 110 km of ski runs of various lengths and levels of difficulty, resting among alpine rocks and views that are truly unique in the world.   The main 5 ski areas are: Faloria- Cristallo, Tofana, Socrepes-Pocol, Falzarego-5 Torri, Misurina-Col de Varda, all of them linked by ski bus. 250 ski trainers, specialized in every technique.

For cross-country skiing Cortina offers routes of all degrees and difficulties, winding between Tre Croci and Fiames, landmarks of beauty and quiet beyond compare.
It is also possible to continue on to Dobbiaco, and the famous Dobbiaco-Cortina 30 km Ski Marathon route.
You just have to choose among the many other sport alternatives available, off-track skiing, heliski, hiking and snow-shoeing on beaten snow in the company of expert guides, ice-climbing, night luge or taxi bobsled rides on the Olympic ski run in the company of professional riders.
