Olympic and Paralympic Test Events are international or national competitions held at the official competition venues of the Games. Their purpose is to simulate the conditions expected during the winter of 2026, when more than 3,500 athletes will arrive in Italy, dreaming of winning a medal at Milano Cortina 2026.

Scheduled in the lead-up to the Games as part of preparations for the world’s greatest sporting event, these events allow the Organising Committee to test a wide range of operational aspects—from logistics to competition venues, from technologies to media services—with the aim of enhancing organisational efficiency and gathering valuable feedback to support the day-to-day work of the Milano Cortina 2026 team.
